PHILOSOPHY
Mutschler Ventures was founded in 2007 with an initial focus on digital business models and platforms. Meanwhile we have broadened our focus and now additionally invest in new key technologies such as blockchain, software, mobility, robotics/ automation and fintech. We invest in early growth stages up to and including Series A, whereby we also participate in subsequent rounds.
Mutschler Ventures AG is part of a single family office and sees itself as an active investor. We support our portfolio companies in "company building", we answer strategic and conceptual questions, help in the search for investors and try to establish meaningful connections within our network.

Sylvie Mutschler - von Specht
Academic background from University of St. Gallen and Wharton School of Economics. Founded Mutschler Ventures in 2007 and started developing commercial real estate in the US in 2012. Shareholder and board member of Bergos as well as various other advisory and administrative board mandates.
Dr. Maximilian Engelken
Industrial Engineering degree from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and PhD from TU Munich /UC Berkeley. Previously part of the management team at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) and later head of strategy and financing at the robotics start-up Magazino GmbH. Most recently at Bain&Company in private equity practice. Joined Mutschler Ventures as Managing Director in 2019. Sailing and Italy-enthusiast.
Lukas Lang
Accounting & Finance degree from The University of Sheffield Management School. Previously three years within Finance & Investor Relations roles at the robotics start-up Magazino GmbH, accompanying two major financing rounds. Joined Mutschler Ventures as Associate in 2021, acting as Investment Manager from 2024 onwards.
